New Tomorrow

About New Tomorrow

The world is bigger than your postcode. We help you find the place that fits your next chapter.

A travel magazine with a decision to make

New Tomorrow brings together destination stories, practical comparisons and a feel for everyday life. Beautiful places are the starting point. What it costs to stay, the best months to go and whether you will feel at home matter just as much.

We are here for digital nomads, remote workers and location-independent people who want to live somewhere, not simply pass through it. A few months by the sea. A winter in a warmer city. A neighbourhood where work, good food and new friends find their own rhythm.

How to read our scores

Our destination scores are editorial indicators, not a scientific verdict or a guarantee. They sit alongside information about cost, seasons, safety, lifestyle, remote-work suitability and who a city might suit. Safety and nightlife ratings describe different aspects of a place; a high overall score does not mean it is right for every traveller.

Overall, safety, nightlife and trending scores are stored ratings. We do not currently publish a fixed, weighted scoring formula or independently audited source trail, so they should be treated as directional comparisons rather than measured facts. Lists labelled top rated are ordered by the overall score; monthly escape lists also check the recommended months, and beach lists check beach access.

Your priorities come first. Compare the details, read the drawbacks and choose the trade-offs you can live with.

Costs for the way nomads actually stay

Monthly budgets are indicative estimates in euros for one person staying for 1-3 months. Think furnished short-let accommodation, groceries, restaurant and café visits, coworking, local transport, activities, gym or wellness, and mobile data. They are not based on the cheaper rent someone might secure with a 12-month local contract.

Each city has a stored monthly estimate and category breakdown. Everyday price examples and some housing figures are illustrative estimates, including figures scaled from the monthly budget, rather than live quotes from a booking provider. Totals, breakdowns and examples are planning guides and may not reconcile exactly.

Season, neighbourhood, exchange rates, booking lead time and your own habits can move the numbers considerably. Flights, deposits, insurance, visa fees, taxes and personal emergencies may require a separate budget. Confirm accommodation availability and actual prices before committing.

Who runs New Tomorrow

New Tomorrow is published by Tailspin Media Limited, a company based in Gibraltar. It is an independent publication: destination rankings and scores are our own editorial judgement, and commercial partnerships do not determine them. Honest about the limits

We do not claim that every destination has been personally visited or that every figure is independently verified or updated in real time. Destinations change, and useful planning still needs a little checking. Visa and residency notes are a starting point, not legal, tax or immigration advice.

Commercial partnerships do not determine our destination rankings or scores. Read our affiliate disclosure for the details.
